1. What MindFirst is

MindFirst is a set of tools designed to help people think critically about AI, track their AI usage, and maintain independent thinking habits. The current tools include the AI Literacy Score quiz, Try First browser extension, Roast My AI Usage analyser, and a manual usage log.

2. Using the service

You may use MindFirst for personal, educational, and professional purposes. You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or reproduce the service
• Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the service
• Misrepresent your affiliation with MindFirst

3. The browser extension

The Try First extension is provided as-is. It runs entirely in your browser and does not transmit data externally. You install it at your own discretion. We are not liable for any browser issues arising from extension use, though we work to ensure compatibility.

4. Quiz and roast tools

The AI Literacy Score quiz and Roast My AI Usage tool are provided for educational and entertainment purposes. Quiz scores and roast results are illustrative — they are not professional assessments and should not be used as the sole basis for business or hiring decisions.

5. No warranties

MindFirst is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep the service accurate and available, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or that the content is error-free. The statistics cited on the site are sourced from published third-party research; always verify independently for critical decisions.

6. Intellectual property

The MindFirst name, logo, and original content are our intellectual property. The browser extension code is yours to inspect — it's included in the download. Quiz questions and roast logic are © MindFirst 2026.

7. Limitation of liability

MindFirst is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid us in the last 12 months (which, for most users, is $0).

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. We'll update the date at the top when we do.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved in good faith before resorting to formal proceedings.
